July 9. USA Swimming's triple Olympic gold medalist Lenny Krayzelburg arrives in Israel tomorrow to participate in the Maccabiah Games. The tension and
violence in the region deterred many U.S. competitors from attending, though only one member of the US swim team.

Like most of the US swim team, Krayzelburg ignored his fears and decided to attend. He will be the biggest
name among the 300+ U.S. delegation. After the Games, Krayzelburg will vacation in Russia, visiting friends and family he knows from growing up in Ukraine.

Upon returning to the U.S., he will undergo arthroscopic surgery on July 31 to repair a tear in his left shoulder with rehab expected to last 8-12 weeks.
