Lehigh vs. Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Massachusetts, October 16. THE Lehigh women's swimming and diving team claimed first in 12 events Saturday afternoon to defeat Holy Cross 149-89 at the Hart Center. Senior Sarah Kearns (Marion, Mass.) led the Crusaders with a first place finish in the three meter diving competition with a score of 183.30. Kearns placed second on the one meter board with a score of 168.98.

In the pool, Holy Cross was led by senior Gael Carter (Tampa, Fla.) with a second place finish in the 50 free with a time of 26.22 and a second place finish in the 200 IM by sophomore Kristen Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) with a time of 2:18.41. Desrosiers finished third in the 1,000 free with a time of 11:12.22, while her sister, Katelyn Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) finished third in the 100 breast with a time of 1:12.28. Junior Maggie Beaudouin (Madison, N.J.) placed third in the 200 free and 500 free with times of 2:02.99 and 5:31.12 respectively.

Holy Cross will continue action on the road at Siena on Oct. 27 with a dual meet starting at 7:00 p.m.
