PHOENIX, Arizona, November 5. NISCA is celebrating its 75th year, and the theme of the upcoming coaches clinic is "From Uncut to Polished Diamonds" – in coordination with the diamond anniversary, but also to highlight a swimmer's journey from beginner to Olympian.

Landtroop talks about the makeup of the clinic, which includes a visit to the preliminaries and finals of the NCAA Championships and conversations with the top high school and college coaches. Next year's clinic takes place in March in College Station, Texas.

Outside the NISCA clinic, there are more benefits to the organization, and Landtroop said that getting a swimmer recognized as an All-American is one of the top benefits for the swimmer and the coach. For more information about this and other aspects of NISCA, go to www.niscaonline.org.
