Kevin Renshaw Announced as Acting Head Coach of British Gas ITC

LOUGHBOROUGH, England, October 10. BRITISH Swimming recently announced the appointment of Kevin Renshaw as acting head coach at the British Gas Loughborough Intensive Training Centre (ITC), as reported by Inside the Games. This comes after Ben Titley announced last month that he would be moving to Toronto to coach at the National Swim Center. Titley coached at Loughborough University for 16 years, and was the women's head coach for Great Britain at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

Based in Loughborough since 2005, Renshaw has seen much success as a coach. He helped coach UK swimmer David Davies to a silver medal in the open water 10k event at the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Other notable swimmers he has coached include Olympians Joanne Jackson, Daniel Fogg and Roberto Pavoni.

“Kevin has a strong track record based on his great work ethic and unrivalled passion for the job,” said Michael Scott, British Swimming national performance director. “I look forward to working with him in his new role as he continues to develop the ITC in Loughborough.”
