Justin Rothwell Joins Swimming World as Australian Correspondent

SYDNEY, Australia, October 28. SWIMMING World is proud to announce the addition of Justin Rothwell as its Australian correspondent. Rothwell will provide Swimming World's audience with an inside look at the sport in Australia.

Rothwell, a gold license-pending coach in Australia, owns and manages the Rothwell Swim Academy, which boasts three centers in Liverpool, Guildford and Ashfield. Rothwell is also the current president of the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association New South Wales Coaches Association, or ASCTA NSW Coaches Association for short.

Prior to, and partially through, the creation of the Academy in 2002, Rothwell served as the head coach of Macquarie Fields, Eaglevale and Airds Leisure Centers from 1999-2004 after serving as the head coach at the Roselands Aquatic Center from 1995-99. Rothwell first entered the coaching ranks as an assistant under Alan Thompson from m1991-95.

"Swimming World Magazine will benefit greatly from Justin's extensive multilevel background in competitive swimming," Swimming World CEO Brent Rutemiller said. "We are especially looking forward to receiving video reports from Justin that will enhance our Morning Swim Show coverage as well as traditional reporting on important Australian competitions."
