Jason Lezak’s swim squad won the inaugural mixed medley relay at the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series in Austin. Lisa Bratton (1:01.16), Josh Prenot (1:00.73), Regan Smith (58.93) and Justin Ress (49.03) were on the winning relay in the non-scoring relay.

The Swim Squad is in its first year as USA swimming legends Lezak, Lenny KrayzelburgKaitlin Sandeno and Natalie Coughlin drafted teams for the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series. The points are based on who places in the top eight in the individual events as first place gets 10 points, and eighth place gets one. The winning squad by the end of the summer will donate $10,000 to the charity of their choice and each squad member will win sponsor prizes.

Again, the relays are not counting in the final score as they are just for team bragging rights and a fresh take on the TYR Pro Swim Series this year.

Lezak’s squad won the inaugural mixed relay with a 3:49.85. Krayzelburg’s squad was second at 3:52.05 while Sandeno (3:55.04) and Coughlin (4:02.10) were third and fourth.
