GREENSBORO- UGA head coach Jack Bauerle knew his squad would need to come out swinging on day one to stand a chance versus the stacked Cal women’s team. Bauerle was back on deck after a one year suspension and he said nothing feels different about being back on deck. It’s just a return to the familiar fastest yards meet in the world.

The Georgia girls had a fabulous first morning session, but the Cal Bears catapulted past the Bulldogs with their depth on day two. Bauerle is beaming with pride for the way the UGA ladies swam. He sat down with Swimming World to discuss the meet highlights and express his amazement at the barriers broken at NCAAs.
