IX FINA World Masters Swimming Championships – 3K Open Water Results

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – Results from the 3km Open Water swim at IX FINA Masters World Swimming Championships is now posted.

The water was brisk 62 degrees and several swimmers need to be pulled out due to mild hypothermia. Still, the conditions were fairly nice, as the next day saw air temperatures in the 30's with torrential downpours and lots of hail.
