Iowa State Inks Three Student-Athletes

AMES, Iowa, April 30. IOWA State announced the signing of three student-athletes (two divers and a swimmer) to its signing class heading into the 2007-08 season. The Cyclones signed swimmer Isabella Zhang, a Hong Kong native who specializes in freestyle.

"Isabella is a very good sprinter with a lot of potential to help our team in duals and at the Big 12 Championships," said head coach Duane Sorenson.

They also added Abby Christensen of Plymouth, Minn., and Justine Anders of Vernon Hills, Ill., to the diving corps.

"Our team is extremely excited to get two freshmen who are excited to come to Iowa State and dive as Cyclones," head diving coach Jeff Warrick said. "Both women will be very valuable to the success of our team."

Special thanks to Iowa State for contributing this report.
