IOC: Chinese Olympic Bid “In Trouble”

Hours after four swimmers were suspended from the World Championships in Perth, Australia, Samaranch said any Chinese bid for the 2008 Games might be ”in trouble.” The IOC chief did not endorse banning China from participation, but for the first time linked the country’s drug violations to its bid to host the Olympics.
