Industry News: Sweden Signs With Arena Through 2012

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, November 30. ARENA and Svenska Simforbundet – the Swedish Swimming Federation have announced with satisfaction their new partnership agreement that will see Arena as the Federation's Technical Sponsor and Official Supplier for the next four years leading up to the Olympic Games (1 January 2009 – 31 December 2012).

Under the new agreement, Arena will make available to the Swedish swimming and diving teams both its technical sports apparel (racing and training suits, caps and goggles) and the official sports kit for all national and international competitions, as always with the objective of ensuring a uniform, authoritative and very eye-catching image for the athletes who are called upon to represent their country.

The four-year agreement between Arena the Federation will cover several international meetings, including the forthcoming World Long Course Championships in Rome 2009, and the Olympic Games in London 2012. The Swedish National competitions will provide another chance to add to the visibility of the new partnership, on top of a number of local projects and activities, to be managed in partnership, with the common objective to promote and further develop swimming and diving activities in Sweden .

Apart from the Swedish Federation, Arena can count 11 more Federations, with whom it has technical cooperation agreements: Russia , South Africa , Hungary , Poland (from 1 January 2009 ), New Zealand , Belarus , Lithuania , Norway and Estonia .
