Industry News: Finis SwimP3 premiers on MTV2 Monday June 27th at 8pm: Playlistism

LIVERMORE Calif., June 23. FINIS, Inc., today announced the company’s new SwimP3 product will premier on the MTV show Playlistism on Monday June 27th at 8pm. This premier showing will highlight athletes who use music as part of their training. A segment of this show was filmed at Germantown Academy where Coach Richard Shoulberg allowed an underwater film crew to capture some of his post graduate and Olympic level athletes training with the SwimP3.

The timing of the feature coincides with editorial and photo coverage in today’s New York Times of the SwiMP3. "It was amazing to hear such crisp sound cranking underwater," stated the New York Times. "We developed the product for those who swim and desire a little additional stimulus to the workout beyond the thinking about stroke, distance and results. Many swimmers will sing a song to maintain a rhythm or eliminate boredom but now they can listen in high fidelity to their own selected music.” Said John Mix, founder and President of Finis Inc.
