Industry News: Colorado Time Systems Goes To Tijuana For Prestigious FINA/Midea Diving World Series

LOVELAND, Colorado, April 19.TOMORROW, the FINA /Midea Diving World Series 2012 will wrap up its' four event series in Tijuana, M?xico. This is one of the most prestigious diving events in the world and US based timing and scoring company, Colorado Time Systems, will be a major player behind the scenes, as the official scoring partner.

The Mexican Swimming Federation has asked Colorado Time Systems to provide scoring equipment for this influential event. Colorado Time Systems has had a long standing relationship with the Mexican Federation and continues to expand how they work together.

This weekend's event includes, the men's and women's 3 meter springboard, 10 meter platform, synchronized diving 3 meter springboard and 10 meter platform. The FINA (F?d?ration Internationale de Natation) event expects over 50 competitors and will award $192,000 in prize money during the entire event.

The Diving World Series is a high-profile, four stage event attracting the brightest stars in diving today. For this year's fifth annual World Series, there were four meets in four countries. It began in Dubai (UAE) on March 16th, then Beijing (CHN) on March 23rd and onto Moscow (RUS) on April 13th and this week wrapping up in Tijuana (MEX).
