Industry News: Arena Relaunches Website, Adds E-Commerce Functionality

PORTLAND, Oregon, September 11. ARENA North America, a leading swimwear brand, today announced the re-launch of its website, www.arenausa.com. In a continued effort to strengthen the brand's accessibility, create new consumer interactions and increase consumer product knowledge, the site redesign offers e-commerce functionality for the first time and allows users to experience the Arena brand in an informative, easy-to-navigate environment.

One of the most significant site enhancements is new e-commerce functionality, which allows consumers to easily learn about and shop Arena's current product line. Site visitors will have unprecedented access to detailed information highlighting Arena's innovative product technologies and range of top-performing racing and competition suits.

Additionally, site visitors will find ample information about the brand's Elite Team athletes, a history of Arena's evolution from its launch in the 1970's to present day, as well as current brand news and events. They will have access to the brand's Facebook page and Twitter feed directly from the website. Consumers will also find information about Arena's global social responsibility programs along with ways they can get personally involved.

“The site redesign is a direct response to the requests of our consumers for an improved online experience, and allows us to inform them more easily than ever before” said Vice President and General Manager of Arena North America, Tim McCool. “The new www.arenausa.com provides visitors with a convenient one-stop source for information about our brand — with access to more product, athlete and company details than ever before — and will support retail efforts for all of Arena's sales channels.”

The combined updates and fresh format changes present a more engaging and visually appealing experience for the leading swimwear brand, and comes on the heels of Arena's recent opening of its wholly-owned North American subsidiary in Portland, Oregon — a part of the Italian-based swimwear company's plans to continue to quickly grow its position in the U.S. market.

The site's e-commerce element is offered in partnership with Shopatron, an e-commerce and order management specialist providing an innovative and flexible approach to increasing online sales.
