Mason also has club team experience with the Fox Valley Swim Team in the sprint freestyle.

"Meghan is a great addition to our squad for the upcoming season," head coach Sue Novitsky said. "She has continued to improve through her high school career and has competed well in pressure situations. We look for her to come in and help rebuild our sprint group after our strong graduating class. In addition to being a solid swimmer, Meghan has a terrific personality and is a real team player. She is excited to be come a part of the Illinois family."

National Club Swimming Association 2007 Junior National qualifier Miller joins the Orange and Blue after a successful high school career at Wild Lake and with the Retriever Aquatic club team. She has maintained a perfect grade-point average throughout high school and plans to major in mechanical engineering at Illinois.

"We are excited to add Ann to our incoming class of 2007," Novitsky said. "Ann has made some strides with her swimming in the past year and we are anticipating that she will continue to improve at Illinois. "She has continued to improve of the past couple of years and we feel that she is a good fit and will work well within our system. Sara was a strong relay swimmer for her high school and we expect her to be competing for spots on our relay teams. Sara brings a strong desire to improve and work ethic to the team that we always look for in our student-athletes."
