Hope you enjoyed the Olympic swimming coverage

By Phillip Whitten and Michael Collins

SYDNEY – The swimming over. After a brief vacation it time for us to go back to our "regular" world back in the States.

We had a spectacular time watching one of the greatest meets in history. Australia is truly crazy about swimming. They announced to day that postage stamps would be made of their swimming stars Ian Thorpe, Michael Klim, Susie O'Neill, Grant Hackett, and the 400 Free Relay.

It was a lot of work to post results, stories, and photos within minutes of each race completion, but it was a gratifying feeling to get the info up first with accurate swimming details that most journalists fail to include.

We hope you enjoyed the coverage. Please forward the link for olympic coverage to your friends who may not have seen it. (You can do it by clicking the Email this page to a friend at the bottom of this page).

The best way to see everything we posted on the meet is to go to the Archive Section under Lane 9 and put in the date range of Sept. 15 – Sept. 24.

Thanks to those of you who sent your comments on the coverage.

Swimmingly,
