Highlander’s Chelsea Britt Breaks Florida 9-10 Girls 100 Fly Record

ORLANDO, Fla, March 19. NINE year-old Chelsea Britt from Highlander Aquatics Club, broke the Florida Swimming Junior Olympic 10 & Under 100-yard butterfly record at the Florida Swimming Short Course Championships held at the International Drive YMCA on March 11-14.

Not only did she break the JO record, but her time of 1:03.79 breaks the 11-year old Florida Record set in 1982. This time ranks her second nationally in the 10 & Under 100-yard butterfly event.

Chelsea also won the 50-yard butterfly 29.42; 100-yard backstroke 1:08.73; 50-yard backstroke 31.90 and placed second in the 100 and 200 IMs at the meet.
