Gulliver Schools Unveil New Aquatics Center

MIAMI, Florida, February 22. GULLIVER Schools' unveiled its new Aquatic Center during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, January 8, 2010, at 4:30 p.m. at the Preparatory Campus. The new facility features a state-of-the-art 50 meter x 25 yard Olympic size pool with seating for 300 spectators, a second floor viewing platform, locker rooms, a workout and training room and coaches' offices.

Village of Pinecrest Mayor Cindy Lerner addressed attendees at the ceremony, and John Krutulis, Gulliver's Head of School, offered special thanks to the donors who made the Aquatic Center possible. Aquatics Center Director James Sweeney introduced the swimming and water polo teams, lead off the ribbon cutting, and supervised the inaugural lap.

Gulliver Schools is a 501(c) (3) private, not-for-profit, independent, coeducational, nonsectarian day school with the mission of providing a superior college-preparatory education and ensuring an outstanding dynamic learning environment which recognizes and nurtures the unique talents and gifts of each student.
