Gregg Troy Discusses Gators’ Performances at Pinch-A-Penny All-Florida Invite

GAINESVILLE, Florida, September 30. THOUGH Florida might have been the odds-on favorite to win the Pinch-A-Penny All-Florida Invite, Gregg Troy’s Gators did not take an easy weekend in their home pool.

Earlier today, Troy met with local media to talk about the highlights of the meet, and though he says there are “almost too many to mention,” he does mention a few names, including freshman Andrea Mitchell D’Arrigo, who Troy commended in showing some prowess in short course yards swimming.

Troy discusses how the meet allowed an opportunity for the team to be in a championship racing format at the beginning of the season to find the strong and weak spots. He also talked about the advantages of swimming against Florida State and how his swimmers learned from the Seminoles’ racing style in preparation for the end of the season.
