Greensboro to Host 2013 U.S. National Synchronized Swimming Championships

GREENSBORO, North Carolina, November 15. USA Synchro has announced the Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) has been named the host site for the 2013 U.S. National Synchronized Swimming Championships. The events will take place April 9-13, 2013, and are expected to include more than 200 swimmers from 30 teams

“We're really looking forward to returning to Greensboro,” said Terry Harper, executive director of USA Synchro. “The city and the facility engaged the entire community for our Olympic Trials last year. They do an outstanding job.”

Ticket information for the 2013 U.S. National Synchronized Swimming Championships is to be announced.

“We are extremely excited to host USA Synchro's 2013 National Championships and continue to build the strong relationship we have with this outstanding organization,” said GAC manager Susan Braman. “USA Synchro events were a major part of the first year success of the GAC and we look forward to hosting them again in 2013.”

The GAC hosted the U.S. Synchronized Swimming 2012 Olympic Team Trials last November and in August of 2011, the U.S. Synchronized Swimming National Team participated in the Greensboro Aquatic Center's ribbon cutting ceremonies.
