Golden Bear: Dinko Jukic Sets Meet Record

ZAGREB, Croatia, July 3. THE Golden Bear long course meter competition closed the curtains on the weekend's action with a meet record from Dinko Jukic.

Jukic set a meet record in the men's 200 fly with a 1:57.08. That time clipped the 1:57.53 set by Laszlo Cseh back in 2009, but fell short of Jukic's 15th-ranked season best of 1:56.65. Sasa Kuznar finished a distant second in 2:06.63, while Marijan Goricki wound up third in 2:07.67. Dominika Bilac won the women's 200 fly in 2:28.55. Laura Herek (2:34.86) and Paula Klunic (2:36.73) placed second and third.

Matej Maras claimed the men's 200 breast in 2:18.63, while Luka Skugor took second in 2:19.54. Ante Krizan snared third in 2:21.53. Gabrijela Korac hit the wall in 2:33.66 for the women's 200 breast title. Jovana Bogdanovic touched second in 2:36.03, while Ana Radic placed third in 2:38.99.

Ante Cvitkovic held off Petar Petrovic, 56.49 to 56.94, for the men's 100 back. Gordan Kozulj placed third in 57.80. Sanja Jovanovic snagged the women's 100 back title in 1:02.91. Kim Daniela Pavlin finished second in 1:03.96, while Ivana Bolanca wound up third in 1:07.63.

Nimrod Shapira Bar-Or posted a 49.90 to win the men's 100 free. Mario Todorovic took second in 50.26, while Mario Delac placed third in 51.16. Anja Trisic claimed the women's 100 free in 57.90, while Monika Babok took second in 58.38. Rebeka Repman touched third in 58.56.

Todorovic took home the men's 50 fly title in 24.09, while Boris Loncaric finished second in 24.34. Dominik Straga took third in 24.49. Monika Babok posted a 27.89 to win the women's 50 fly. Andrijana Bencic took second in 27.96, while Katja Hajdinjak earned third in 27.99.

Dinko Jukic topped the men's 200 IM in 2:02.07. Sasa Impric (2:05.34) and Vincent Lefol (2:09.92) placed second and third. Kim Daniela Pavlin hit the wall in 2:17.01 to win the women's 200 IM. Mabel Sulic (2:21.55) and Zeljana Knezevic (2:25.79) rounded out the top three.

Erazmo Marsanic touched out Simon Guerin, 4:05.17 to 4:05.19, in the men's 400 free. Vladislav Paska placed third in 4:08.42. Matea Peteh earned the women's 400 free crown in 4:26.40. Dora Plestina (4:38.85) and Kate Gudelj (4:42.14) completed the podium.

Lovro Bilonic snagged the men's 50 breast in 28.47, while Ante Krizan took second in 28.74. Sasa Gerbec touched third in 28.78. Lana Dragojevic placed first in the women's 50 breast with a 32.79. Smiljana Marinovic (33.06) and Ana Radic (33.63) finished second and third.
