Glamour is Coole

From USS: Chosen from over 1,000 outstanding applicants from across the U.S., University of Georgia senior Lisa Coole of Rockford, Ill., has been selected as one of Glamour magazine’s Top 10 College Women for 1996. Coole will appear in the October issue of Glamour magazine. She was chosen for her outstanding scholastic and personal achievement as well as her contributions to her school and community.

Coole is a Georgia Foundation Fellow, which is an elite scholarship program. She is majoring in biology and hopes to attend veterinary school after graduation. A competitive swimmer since the age of 8, Coole was the 1996 NCAA champion in the 100-yard butterfly. Lisa also won three medals at the 1995 World University Games. She placed sixth in the 100-meter butterfly at the 1996 U.S. Olympic Trials.
