Georgia Win’s 2000 Women’s NCAA’s

Georgia came out victorious for the second consecutive year at the Women's NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships. They won 9 events to hold off a strong charge from Arizona who finished second, while Stanford placed third and failed to win any events. Cal Berkely finished fourth with Auburn in fifth.
Pac-10 Schools accounted for five of the top eight spots.

Georgia's Jack Bauerle was named coach of the year. Kristy Kowal and Courtney Shealy both from Georgia were named Co-Swimmers of the meet after each won three individual events and contributed to strong relay performances.

Diving Coach of the year was Scott Wright of LSU and his diver Ashley Culpepper was diver of the meet for winning both the 1 & 3 meter boards and finishing 5th on the Platform.
