Georgia Tech Among Latest To Secure Swimming World Five Star Commitment

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 3. A trio of Swimming World College Recruit Rankings five stars have made their verbal commitments, while several other swimmers also made their decisions.

Five star Kathryn Woolbright, who maintains her profile in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings, is distance specialist who will be headed to Georgia Tech.

"I was very lucky to be recruited by some great schools," Woolbright told Swimming World. "It was a very difficult decision for me. I was told over and over I would find a team that I would fit in perfectly. I found two schools/teams that I could see myself going to that were both perfect fits in all areas. I picked Georgia Tech because the academics are outstanding, the kids on the team are great and the coaches are fantastic."

Woolbright swims for the SouthWest Stars, and owns a pair of long course senior national cuts: 400m free 4:18.91; 800m free 8:46.65.

Five star Robert Hommel, who maintains his profile in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings, is an all-around threat who will be headed to Stanford.

Hommel swims for BCH Heatwave and preps at Green Valley High. He owns several long course senior national cuts: 400m free 4:00.69; 200m breast 2:19.26; 200m IM 2:06.12; 400m IM 4:22.98.

Five star Haley Sims, who maintains her profile in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings, is an all-around swimmer who will be headed to Stanford.

Sims swims for Express Swim Team and preps at Downers Grove North. She has three long course senior national cuts: 50m free 25.94; 100m fly 1:00.08; 200m IM 2:20.50.

Four star Anna Neumeister, who maintains her profile in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings, is an IMer from Chattahoochee Gold who will be heading to Georgia.

Three star Taylor Carlson, who maintains her profile in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings, is a sprinter from Terrapins Swim Club who will be heading to UCLA.
