Georgia Bohl Posts 2nd-Best 50 Breast of Year 30.58

Georgia Bohl improved upon her second-ranked time in the world in the women’s 50-meter breast at the 2016 Australian Nationals.

Bohl clocked a 30.58 to win the sprint breast tonight, bettering her 30.77 from earlier in the meet.  Only Ruta Meilutyte has been faster this year with a 30.13 from the Swedish Open.

Jennie Johansson took second tonight in 30.71 to stand third in the world, while Sally Hunter posted a 31.04 to round out the top three tonight.

Lorna Tonks (31.55), Jessica Hansen (31.61), Ella Bond (32.51), Carlee Millikin (32.65) and Georgia Wells (33.29) finished fourth through eighth.
