Garrett Weber-Gale Launches Successful “For the Love of Food” Podcast

PHOENIX, Arizona, June 4. WHEN he isn't racing, Olympic gold medalist and food enthusiast Garrett Weber-Gale has been busy making waves outside of the pool. The Athletic Foodie co-founder recently launched a podcast, titled For the Love of Food.

“My goal for the podcast is to help people build a closer relationship with food, and understand the dramatic difference it can make on the happiness in our lives,” Weber-Gale told Swimming World.

The podcast was launched in April, and is now on its fifth episode. So far, Weber-Gale has talked food with an award-winning chef, a vegan UltraMan, a healthy fast food guru, Famous Fat Dave and — in his latest episode — an organic farmer.

“My podcast is going really well,” said Weber-Gale. “We have had some really interesting guests on pertaining to food, cooking, health, and nutrition.”
