Five-Star Prospect Haley Anderson Makes College Decision

GRANITE BAY, California, October 9. SWIMMING World five-star recruit Haley Anderson made her collegiate decision over the weekend.

On Sunday evening, Anderson pledged to sign with the University of Southern California. The move gives Dave Salo a strong middle distance performer. Anderson owns top times in the 400-meter free (4:13.90), 800-meter free (8:41.57), 200-meter fly (2:13.24) and 400-meter IM (4:47.10). She also would have qualified for the 500-yard free (4:44.69) and 1650-yard free (16:18.20) at the NCAA Division I Championships last year.

"The USC coaches and the team are terrific and I loved the atmosphere," Anderson said. "I can't wait to be a Trojan! Fight On!"

Anderson was featured on SwimmingWorldMagazine.com earlier this month.

Anderson joins Jordan Danny as verbal commits at USC. Danny is a five-star breaststroke specialist heading into her final high school campaign.
