ESPN2 Will Carry NCAA Division I Championships

BRISTOL, Conn., March 22. GET the VCR ready for recording duty. The NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships will be aired by ESPN2 at the end of this week and at the end of next week.

The women's championships, which were held last week at Purdue University, will air Friday, March 25 from 2-3:30 p.m. The competition was won by the Georgia Bulldogs and featured a number of standout efforts, including impressive wins from Georgia's Kara Lynn Joyce and Auburn's Kirsty Coventry.

The men's championships, which run Thursday through Saturday at the University of Minnesota, will hit the television airways on April 1 from 1:30-3 p.m. Auburn is favored to win a third consecutive NCAA title.
