Erin Gemmell On Getting The Fast Twitch Genes (VIDEO INTERVIEW)

Erin Gemmell of Nation’s Capital Swim Club won her first national title taking out the 200 free on Friday night in Irvine. Gemmell is just 13 years old and she talked about the atmosphere at her first Junior Nationals as well as how she wanted to approach her races.

Gemmell also talked about growing up with brother Andrew Gemmell, an Olympian from 2012. She talked about her collection of bears that he gave to her over the years as well as how she enjoys swimming the shorter races versus Andrew’s longer events.
