Erica Morningstar Doubles Up at Bell Grand Prix

TORONTO, Ontario, Canada, November 24. DURING the second night of competition at the Bell Grand Prix held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Erica Morningstar completed a daily double with wins in the 200 IM And 50 free.

Morningstar first touched out Stephanie Horner by the slimmest of margins, 2:15.70 to 2:15.71, in the 200 IM before coming back with a victory in the 50 free (25.74). Earlier in the evening, Horner topped the 400 free in 4:14.24.

Other winning women included Hanna Kubas (50 back – 29.19), MacKenzie Downing (100 fly – 59.48) and Annamay Pierse (200 breast – 2:29.37).

Winners on the men side was comprised of Callum Ng (50 back – 25.97), Ryan Cochrane (400 free – 3:55.40), Joe Bartoch (100 fly – 54.10), Brian Johns (200 IM – 2:01.99), Brent Hayden (50 free – 22.38) and Mike Brown (200 breast – 2:14.16).
