Dutch Short Course Nationals: Flash Women Break 400 Free Relay World Record

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, December 19. THE Dutch foursome of Hinkelien Schreuder, Ranomi Kromowidjojo, Inge Dekker and Marleen Veldhuis gave the swimming community its 106th world record of the year at the Dutch Short Course Nationals.

Schreuder (52.88), Kromowidjojo (52.12), Dekker (52.24) and Veldhuis (50.98) clocked a 3:28.22 in the women's 400 free relay for the world record.

The performance cleared the previous record held by the Dutch of 3:29.42. Schreuder (53.62), Femke Heemskerk (52.61), Dekker (51.76) and Veldhuis (51.43) set that record at the 2008 World Short Course Championships earlier this year.
