Dodson Named New Egyptian National Coach

CAIRO, Egypt, December 31. AL Dodson, who has spent 35 of his 37 years in coaching in Connecticut, has been appointed Head Coach of the Egyptian Swimming Federation National Team.

He will be responsible for selecting the National and Junior National teams, developing annual training and competition plans, on-deck training, and accompanying the teams to national and international meets. His starting date will be January 15, 2004.

Coach Dodson stated: "Achieving the goals that the Federation, the swimmers, and I have set will be quite a challenge, but I am confident that, working together, we can make Egypt an international swimming power.
