This is the last major weekend of duel meets in Division II as we are seven weeks away from the NCAA Championships, meaning that conference season is right around the corner. There is a small selection of meets going on this weekend as the season is quickly coming to an end.

National title favorite Drury will be swimming at Mizzou on Thursday night in another in-state matchup. They dropped crosstown rival Missouri State last week on Thursday night and they will go up north to swim the Tigers in a tough matchup as Mizzou is gearing up for SEC’s in a few short weeks. Drury will be headed to its conference meet in a couple weeks where they will face off with top competition Indianapolis and Grand Valley.

Unranked Seattle will be facing off against rival Simon Fraser on Saturday in a bit of a rivalry meet. Simon Fraser is the only Canadian team in Division II and will be hosting Seattle, who will be traveling the short distance from Washington to Vancouver. Simon Fraser also does not have a conference meet so they will swim against the University of Victoria February 10 and will swim the West Coast Challenge the next day before they swim at NCAA’s in about seven weeks.

There are not a lot of other meets going on this weekend. (#25/11) Fresno Pacific will be swimming (NR/21) CSU East Bay and (#12/3) Nova Southeastern will be swimming Keiser. (#21/NR) Emmanuel will be hosting a quad meet with Brenau, South Georgia and Point while (NR/25) Findlay will swim Tiffin, and (#15/NR) Florida Tech will swim (#10/NR) Saint Leo in a matchup of ranked teams.

Most teams have the weekend off before they start their conference meets either next week or the week after.
