Denmark Long Course Championships: National Record Book Rewritten During First Two Days

ESBJERG, Denmark, April 8. THE Denmark national record book is in the process of being rewritten during the country's first two days at its long course national championships held in Esbjerg this week.

The Elitesvom Esbjerg foursome of Nicolai Graae Hansen, Jon Rud, Nikolai Kirketerp Moller and Carstensen turned in a 3:23.47 in the men's 400 free relay to break the 3:26.96 set by Sigma back in 2005.

In other action, Lotte Friis posted a time of 1:59.29 in the women's 200 free finale to finish just off Julie Hjorth-Hansen's 2008 national record of 1:59.16. Additionally, Mads Glaesner clocked a 3:46.28 to win the men's 400 free, off his national record of 3:45.38 set last year as well.
