Dayton Raiders Bring Cincinnati Marlins’ 25-Year Run to an End in Ohio AG Championships

CINCINNATI, Ohio, July 28. THE Dayton (OH) Raiders won their first Ohio State Age Group Championships July 22-25 at Keating Natatorium in Cincinnati (OH), per reports from Brent T. Peadon on site.

The Cincinnati Marlins had never lost the Ohio State Long Course Championships in the 25 years since the meet's inception in 1969. The Marlins dropped to fourth this year as the Northern Kentucky Clippers and Cincinnati Aquatic Club also moved ahead of them.

The meet had 13-14, 11-12 and 10 & Under categories. The Dayton Raiders were led by the 13-14 girls and 13-14 boys, who won their respective age group high points with several NAG "Top 16" relays.
