Davidson and Workman Hired as UNLV Assistant Coaches

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, October 6. UNLV has hired a pair of assistant coaches for its men’s and women’s programs, which are under the direction of Jim Reitz. Paul Davidson and Aaron Workman join the Runnin Rebels as replacements for Rick Pratt and Jamie Maier.

“It was a major stroke of good fortune that we were able to get two coaches of this caliber to accept positions on our staff here,” said Reitz.

Davidson spent 1994-96 as an assistant coach at Michigan and most recently was working at California Lutheran. Davidson, a graduate of UC Irvine, also coached at the club level with Conejo Simi Aquatics. A four-time All-American at Kentucky, Workman was the head coach at Hollins University from 2002-03 and competed at the 2000 Olympic Trials.
