Dare Rose of Scarlet Aquatics in New Jersey broke the National Age Group Record for the 11-12 boys’ 200-meter fly in 2:11.85. Rose actually achieved the record in a time trial last week at the 2015 SZSS Championships.

The previous record had been held by Winn Aung, who set the mark one month ago when he clocked a 2:12.91.

Rose took the race out in a 1:03.04 and brought it home in a strong 1:08.81. He dropped 3.69 seconds from his own personal best to get the record.
