Craig Provides Highlight During Day Two of Bloomington Speedo Champions Series

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., July 26. BRADLEY Craig of the Barracuda Swim Team offered the most impressive performance during the second day of competition at the Bloomington Speedo Champions Series event at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center at Indiana University on Wednesday.

Craig raced to a national-cut time of 2:21.89 in the 200-meter breaststroke, while Matt Angelini of the Cincinnati Marlins picked up a national-cut time of his own with a 2:07.14 in the 200-meter backstroke.

Other winners included Club Wolverine’s Liz Koselka with a 58.82 in the women’s 100-meter freestyle, Westerville’s Austin Staab with a 52.65 in the men’s 100 free, Indiana University’s Abby Cooper with a 2:38.56 in the 200-meter breaststroke, Cincinnati Marlin Ashlee Edgell with a 2:22.44 in the 200-meter backstroke, Club Wolverine’s Annie Stein with a 2:19.00 in the 200-meter butterfly and Cincinnati Marlin Mark Bernstein with a 2:07.68 in the 200 fly.

Action continues Thursday with the 200-meter freestyle, 400-meter IM and 400-meter freestyle relay.
