Colorado Women’s 5A State High School Championships

FORT COLLINS, Colorado, March 16. CHERRY Creek, the winner of two relays, claimed the Colorado Women's 5A Championship with 349 points.

Fairview finished up in second with 269 points while Regis Jesuit took third overall with 193.5 points.

Cherry Creek battled Regis Jesuit for first in the 200 freestyle relay, and the Cherry Creek quartet of Jordyn Ambroisch, Jordan Mattern, Katie Naze and Gretchen Cohen eked out the win by .04 with a time of 1:38.55. The class champions returned with a winning contingent in the 400 freestyle relay as the relay team of Mattern, Morgan Kimminau, Naze and Loren Braden clocked a 3:32.60.

Chaparral's Elizabeth Yovich took the diving title with a score of 479.10. Hannah Tautz from Littleton placed second with a score of 467.60 while Courtney Fieldman of Cherry Creek finished up in third place with her score of 445.05.
