FORT COLLINS, Colorado, April 9. RALSTON Valley emerged victorious in the women's Colorado 4A State Championships, scoring 302 points.

Rock Canyon, the winner of two relay events, placed second with 269.5 points while Thompson Valley finished more than 100 points back with a third-place-worthy 161 points.

Three teams broke Mullen's 2005 200 medley relay class record of 1:50.10, but it was Rock Canyon that left the meet as the new record holder, as the Rock Canyon women (Kirsten Milberg, Londyn Clawson, Taylor Curado and Jehan Atoe) touched in 1:48.30. Rock Canyon garnered its second relay win in the 400 freestyle relay when the contingent of Atoe, Curado, Milberg and Jessica Holley clocked a 3:35.62 time.

The parity of competition at the meet was evidenced by the number of different event winners. There was a different individual event champion in each of the eight swimming events.

Jamie Bristol of Mountain View earned the diving title with a score of 440.05. Erin Lionberger from Longmont placed second with a score of 415.25 while Allie Meisner from Broomfield snagged the third-place honor with a score of 414.20.
