College Swimming & Diving Honors Announced; California, Tennessee Lead Way With Most Honors

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, June 6. THE 2011-12 College Swimming & Diving Honors have been announced today. In total, 15 honorees were recognized from the 2011-12 season with California earning five honors, while Tennessee picked up three.

The open nomination process concluded on April 30 of this year, with coaches, athletes and administrators all being able to submit nominees for the various categories. In sum, more than 200 athletes and/or teams from nearly 100 institutions were nominated.

A publication entitled Profiles in Excellence: 2011-12 College Swimming & Diving Honors has been created, and is available in virtual format below. A print version, printed late June 2012, will be available upon request from collegeswimmingawards.com.
