Clemson vs. South Carolina

GREENVILLE, South Carolina, October 29. THE South Carolina swimming and diving teams swept rival Clemson on Saturday in the programs' last-ever meeting.

The Gamecock men claimed a 162-137 victory to improve to 2-2 on the season, while the Carolina women won 191-108 to move to 3-1 overall.

With the Tigers phasing out their program at the end of the season, the Gamecocks recorded wins to end a series that dates back to 1923.

"This was the best racing I have seen from us on the road in a long time," South Carolina head coach McGee Moody said. "We were sharp from the beginning. We will talk about things we need to work on and start preparing for Tennessee. I am disappointed that the rivalry is over."
