Clemson Classic Hosted by Clemson Aquatic Team

Clemson, SC, November 29. EARLIER this month The Clemson Aquatic Team (CAT) hosted the annual Clemson Classic November 5-7, 2004 at the McHugh Natatorium located on the Clemson University campus.

The meet featured a unique format of events, which included 50' and 200's of all events for the 11-12 year olds. The only 100-yard distance was the freestyle.

The meet also included the 400 IM for all ages, 500 free for all ages, 1000 free for 12/Unders and 1650 free for 13/Olders.

The Clemson Classic hosted nearly 400 participants representing 14 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The CAT highlights include 7 team records being broken. Christine Hughes (13) led all CAT-swimmers with 8 event wins and 6 team records. McKenzie Alexander (12) broke one team record.
