Class of 2011 Swimming World Five Star Danielle Siverling Makes College Choice

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 11. SWIMMING World five star Danielle Siverling of the Class of 2011 has completed her recruiting process, and made her destination choice.

Siverling, who maintains her profile in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings, is a middle-distance freestyle specialist who will be headed to the University of North Carolina after this year.

"I chose UNC because of the great opportunities it provides for academics and athletics, as well as the awesome location," Siverling told Swimming World. "The team is very welcoming and feels like a family, and the coaches are down-to-earth and dedicated to the swimmers. Everyone's passionate about the school and so supportive of each other, and it made me feel right at home."

Siverling swims for Malvern Swimming Association and preps at Downington East High in Exton, Pa. She owns long course senior national cuts in the 200 free (2:01.53) and 400 free (4:17.08).
