Chloe Sutton, Ky Hurst Claim London Stage of FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup Stop

LONDON, England, June 17. AMERICAN Chloe Sutton and Australian Ky Hurst emerged triumphant during the London, England stage of the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup held at the Royal Albert Docks on June 17.

Sutton, a rising 15-year-old open water superstar, clocked in at 2:02:39.57 to win the Olympic distance event. Meanwhile, Australia's Kate Brookes-Peterson garnered silver in 2:02:41.35, while Germany's Angela Maurer picked up bronze in 2:02:42.52.

In the men's race, Hurst crossed the line in 1:55:52.42 to edge Britain's Alan Bircher (1:55:52.96) for the 10K title. Mark Warkentin (1:55:53.39) and Fran Crippen (1:55:53.81) took third and fourth, respectively, for the United States.
