China Dominates Another Leg of FINA Diving Grand Prix

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, June 15. FRANCE's Matthieu Rosset and Damien Cely were the only non-Chinese winners at the sixth and last leg of the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2011 held in Bolzano (ITA) from June 10-12. The French pair finished first in the men's 3m springboard synchro, Rosset also winning the individual same event.

Once again, the Chinese divers occupied the majority of the podium with nine awards. Other nations to produce fine performances in Bolzano were Mexico, Canada, Italy, Australia, France and Belarus.

One month away from the FINA World Championships in Shanghai, future host China confirms an excellent season with a first place in all eight events of the general standings. Individually, Wang Han is the overall winner in the women's 3m springboard while teammate Shixin Li won the men's same event. In the 10m platform, Tingting Ke and Luxin Zhou were the best among women and men, respectively.
