China Completes Gold-Medal Sweep of Diving at Asian Games

DOHA, Qatar, December 14. CHINA completed a gold-medal sweep of diving competition at the Asian Games, finishing 10-for-10 at the meet held in Doha, Qatar on Dec. 14.

Men's Synchronized Three-Meter
China's duo of Wang Feng and He Chong captured the title with 448.50 points, while Malaysia's team of Rossharisham and Ken Nee Yeoh took silver with 393.36 points. South Korea's team of Kyung Min Kwon and Kwan Hoon Cho garnered bronze with 391.68 points.

Women's Synchronized 10-Meter
China won the event as the team of Jia Tong and Chen Ruolin tallied 344.52 points. Japan's pair of Misako Yamashita and Mai Nakagawa took second with 317.70 points, while North Korea's In Sun Hong and Kum Hui Choe placed third with 302.76 points.

Women's Synchronized Three-Meter
China picked up another synchro title when Guo Jingjing and Li Ting totaled 337.80 points for gold, while Japan's team of Misako Yamashita and Ryoko Nishii finished second with 287.40 points. Malaysia's duo of Mun Yee Leong and Elizabeth Jimie claimed third with 275.04 points.

Men's Synchronized 10-Meter
China snared its fourth gold as Lin Yue and Huo Liang snagged first with 473.88 points. North Korea's pair of Jong Nam Ri and Chon Man Kim earned silver with 432.90 points, while South Korea's team of Kyung Min Kwon and Kwan Hoon Cho took third with 430.74 points.

Men's One-meter
China swept the top two spots as Luo Yutong scored gold with 466.10 points and Qin Kai took silver with 439.90 points. Japan's Ken Terauchi brought home bronze with 419.75 points.

Women's One-Meter
China went 1-2 as Wu Minxia tallied 317.25 points for gold, while He Zi garnered silver with 312.30 points. Malaysia's Elizabeth Jimie rounded out the podium with 280.30 points.

Women's Three-Meter
China pocketed another top-two sweep as Wu Minxia claimed her second straight title with 371.85 points, while He Zi took silver with 366.90 points. Malaysia's Mun Yee Leong grabbed bronze with 307.80 points.

Men's Three-Meter
China went 1-2 in the men's three-meter as He Chong dominated with 530.40 points, while Luo Yutong finished second with 488.95 points. Japan's Ken Terauchi closed out the top three with 478.95 points.

Men's 10-Meter
China grabbed the top-two again as Lin Yue pulled out gold with 551.50 points, while Zhou Luxin placed second with 533.90 points. North Korea's Chon Man Kim snared bronze with 456.35 points.

Women's 10-Meter
China completed the gold-medal sweep as Wang Xin edged teammate Chen Ruolin, 419.25 to 418.10, for the tower title. Meanwhile, North Korea's In Sun Hong earned bronze with 354.00 points.
