OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, December 17. DAYTONA Beach's Rex Tullius doubled on the second night of short course yard action at the Chesapeake Elite Pro-Am.
Tullius first snatched the men's 200 free crown in 1:34.99. Longhorn's Michael Klueh earned second in 1:35.08, while Max Jaben wound up third in 1:36.84. Tullius doubled up in the men's 100 fly with a 47.37. Longhorn's Andrew Wang touched second in 47.44, while Schroeder's Adam Mania rounded out the podium with a third-place 47.72.
KING's Megan Jendrick captured the women's 100 breast title in 1:01.15. Florida Keys' Myhria Miller took second in 1:02.54, while Alison Soelter grabbed third in 1:03.56. Longhorn's Matt Lowe cruised to victory in the men's 100 breast with a 53.09. Teammate Dale Rogers finished second in 55.07, while Houston's Harrison Bui pocketed third in 57.05.
FAST's Julia Anderson topped the women's 200 free in 1:47.53, while Chesapeake's Chelsea Ye touched second in 1:49.70. Mustangs' Jennifer Blackman placed third in 1:49.73. SMU's Genevieve Konicke picked off Soelter in the women's 100 fly, 55.56 to 55.88. Mustangs' Claire Brandt placed third overall in 55.93.
FAST's Emily Brunemann dominated the women's 400 IM with a winning 4:14.41. Teammate Anna Linkenauger posted a second-place 4:21.89, while RAC Aquahawgs' Jennifer Holtzen touched third in 4:23.37. FAST's Robert Margalis claimed the men's 400 IM in 3:41.97. Mission Viejo's Alejandro Cisneros finished second in 3:58.65, while Mustangs' Connor Nolan touched third in 3:59.07.
FAST's Julia Anderson, Kristalyn McAfee, Alexandra Lakota and Anna Linkenauger won the women's 400 free relay in 3:28.25. SMU's Matthew Roney, David Larsson, Mindaugas Sadauskas and Gregory Doughty picked up the men's 400 free relay in 3:04.07.
