Chad Ho, Natalie Du Toit Double at South African National Open Water Championships

MASELSPROOT DAM, South Africa, February 3. AFTER winning their respective 10K titles during the first day of swimming at the South African National Open Water Championships, Chad Ho and Natalie Du Toit returned for wins in the 5K events.

Ho clocked a winning time of 58:43.71 among the men, while Danie Marais (59:15.21) and Abdul-Malick Railoun (1:02:21.10) touched second and third.

Du Toit claimed the women's title with a time of 1:02:39.29, while Dominique Dryding placed second in 1:03:32.21. Sharne Franklin rounded out the podium with a third-place 1:03:47.05.
