Castaic Lake Will Be The Survival Of The Fittest

VALENCIA, California, April 25. HALEY Anderson, Ashley Twichell, Christine Jennings, Eva Fabian, Emily Brunemann, and Becca Mann…now that is a loaded field at the upcoming USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships in Castaic Lake in Southern California.

First there is the recent graduate from USC, Anderson, the Olympic silver medalist in the 10K marathon swim. Then, there is her nemesis and defending 5K and 10K national champion Twichell as well as FINA 10 Marathon Swimming World Cup champions Emily Brunemann and Christine Jennings.

But it is impossible to impossible to overlook Fabian who is the hottest American open water swimmer at this time as well as Mann who has always pushed her rivals at a precocious age.

Only two of these women can qualify for the 10K race at the World Swimming Championships in Barcelona and it is going to be an extremely fast, extraordinarily competitive race in Lake Castaic that will start fast, build up to a heart-wrenching pace, and culminate in an explosive finish.
